Merry meet and welcome to the Roost! I am a rather ordinary woman living an extraordinary and magickal life. My totem is Owl and I have adopted her name as my own.
The Spirit of Owl is that of a messenger between the worlds. She shares information given to her from the Land of the Elders to those who need her wisdom. Owl is synonymous with the gift of higher knowledge and insight. For the one beside whom Owl flies, the gift of wisdom is a life long quest and within the hearts and minds of these souls is a never ending desire to know more.
For the one beside whom Owl journeys, there will be an innate understanding of the recurring cycle of life, death, rebirth. Often times the Owl individual will have intense past life connections and memories.
The Owl is one of several animal totems that is
blessed with shape-shifting, that is the ability for them to change
their form from that of an owl to a human form and back again. With the
Owl in particular, this shape-shifting ability is closely linked with
Lunar Magick since this extraordinary creature is a sister to the Moon.
In observing the ever shifting and changing cycles that affect all
within the domain of Luna, including the inhale and the exhale of the
ocean's waves.
I am blessed to be HPS, W.W. and Crone of The Daughters of the Crystal Magnolia coven. My sisters and I happily gather and work magick together. We have been together a little over 15 years now and our bonds are stronger than most families. Bonds that were formed in Love, in Respect and in Magick.
